I founded KW to maximize all of the technical and legal training I am so fortunate to have for the benefit of the innovative companies I get to work with.
I am a scientist and patent attorney, thinking in terms of experimental design to demonstrate the validity of an invention and legal strategies to articulate and protect that invention.
I am focused on helping clients in a variety of industries, including the cannabis industry, the boundaries of which are blending with those of traditional ag, biotech, pharma, and other mainstream industry sectors
Prior to founding KW Law, I worked for one of the largest law firms in the southwest, where my practice included patent procurement, strategic analysis and counseling services for companies developing medical devices, diagnostic and therapeutic solutions, and next-generation sequencing technology, among other technology areas.
